In the beginning Heavenly Father had a plan and Satan had a plan.
Satan's Plan was to save ALL the children of God. This plan however would remove our power to choose; therefore, we would not sin. Everyone on this earth had the opportunity to choose. We chose Heavenly Father's plan to come to earth and have a mortal body. Those who followed Satan lost their chance to gain a body. To get back they use their spirit body to frustrate God's plan. However, with satan and his followers tempting us to do evil is part of Heavenly Father's plan. This gives us the opportunity to use our agency. "Satan seeks to discredit the Savior and [his] divine authority, to nullify the effects of the Atonement, to counterfeit revvelation, to lead people away from the truth, to contradict individual accountabilitym, to confuse gender, to undermine marriage, and to discourage childbearing."

Scriptures:
Mosiah 2:21- "I say unto you that if ye should serve him who has creatd you from the beginning, and is preserving you from day to day, by lending you breath, that ye may live and move and do according to your own will, and even supporting you from one moment to another--I say, if ye should werve him with all you whole souls yet ye sould be unprofitable servants."
~ This verse is talking about how our Father in Heaven let us choose for ourselves. Even If we
choose the wrong chose he will be by our sides to help up. We need to be aware that our
agency is a gift from Him and make the right chooses.
2 Nephi 2:16- "Wherefore, man could not act from himself save it should be that he was enticed by the one
or the other."
~WIthout opposition what would be the use of agency. As this scriptures
states, we need that opposing force to entice us to make the discission between good or bad
Alma 3:13- " this is the mannner after ...being called and prepared from the foundation of the world
according to the forknowledge of being left to hoose good or evil; having chosen good.."
~In the beginning, we CHOSE good, to prove that we are here on earth. People claim that the only
choses that thy have ever made were wrong choices. But they didn't, they mad the good chose
of choosing the Father's plan and coming down to earth.
Moses 3:17: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it, nevertheless, thou
mayest choose for thy self, for it is even unto thee: but, remember that I forbid it, for in the
day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
~They were forwarned about the consequences of partaking of the fruit from the tree of Knowledge
yet they still had agency to choose, even if God Himself, told them not oo. We can parallel outcome,
whether it be good or bad, we still have to make the decision.
Doctrine and Covenants 29:39- "And it must needs be that they devil should tempt the children of men, or they could not
be agents unto themselves; or if they never should have bitter they could not know the
sweet."
~There has to opposition in all things, or else agency does not exist. There has to be a recog-
nition of the good, and the bad can be parralleled to the darkness. Without the darkness
you wouldn't be able to see the light.
